Short remarks on archaeological epistemology. On some recent and lesser approaches to the oinochòe of Tragliatella

Abstract

The oinochòe of Tragliatella is a challenge due to the complexity and originality of the figurative project that decorates it. The study analyzes different perspectives of analysis, with regard to the interpretative tendencies that have excluded the myth as a decisive substratum for the cycle of images, questioning the argumentative power of the readings that disregard the myth itself.
