Information For Authors

Registration, Guidelines and Release Statement

In order to make a submission it is necessary to register or, if already registered, to login and start the 5 steps of which the procedure is composed.

Those who intend to submit an article to the journal are invited to consult the "Magazine Information" page and the page containing the Guidelines for Authors, as well as to download, sign and email the Release Statement for the publication of contributions.

 

Originality and Plagiarism

The authors undertake to propose original and unpublished research, to present their work accurately and - when necessary - to discuss it with the editors. They provide the correct indication of all bibliographic sources and/or other forms of contribution consulted and used for the writing of their work. Fraudulent or knowingly inaccurate claims constitute behavior contrary to deontology and are unacceptable.

 

Copyrights

The authors guarantee that the content of their contribution, including images, does not violate any existing copyright, and also releases the journal's editorial staff from any liability.

If it is a derivative work (translation, summary, remake, etc.), so that the journal Otium. Archeologia e Cultura del Mondo Antico can ascertain any intellectual property rights and economic exploitation of the authors and/or publisher of the original work, it informs that the specific bibliographic reference to the original is as follows: Author(s), Title, Publishing House, Place of Publication, Year, eventual URL, etc..

The authors guarantee that the content of their contribution is not defamatory or otherwise harmful to the moral or economic rights of others.

 

Paternity of the work

The authorship of the work should be correctly attributed and all those who have made a significant contribution to the conception, organization, implementation and interpretation of the research that is the basis of the article should be indicated as co-authors. If other people have participated significantly in some phases of the research, their contribution must be explicitly recognized.

In the case of multi-handed contributions, the author who sends the text to the journal is required to declare that he or she has correctly indicated the names of all the other co-authors, that he or she has obtained their approval of the final version of the article and their consent to publication in Otium. Errors in published works

When an author identifies an error or inaccuracy in one of his or her articles, he or she must promptly inform the editors of the journal and provide them with all the information necessary to make the necessary corrections, no later than three weeks from the date of publication of the issue.
